Gluten Free Food & Travel Blog – About Me

Hello and welcome to my gluten free food & travel blog a blog dedicated to gluten free recipes, eating out on a gluten free diet and travelling to foreign countries gluten free.

My name is Suzanne Thomson, I live in Scotland, and I was recently diagnosed with coeliac (celiac) disease. I love to travel and visit different places in the world and I also love to cook & eat out.  Unfortunately all of these things become a little bit more challenging when you have coeliac disease and things need to be thought out and planned a little more than usual.

After six months of gluten free eating, I started to feel normal and ready to start experimenting more, hence this blog was born!

I write about things as I experience them, including:

  • New gluten free recipe ideas
  • Travelling gluten free in different countries of the world
  • Eating out where I live (Edinburgh)
  • Coeliac disease tips and latest research
  • and much more ….!

If you are new to the gluten free diet I’ve written a Kindle book that you may find helpful. The book is called The Little Book of Gluten Free Living and the aim of it is to help you understand what you can and can’t eat on a gluten free diet, ideas for gluten free meals, tips for eating out, different world cuisines and what to watch out for, what to do if you are still feeling unwell despite following a gluten free diet, ideas for places to travel to on vacation and tips for planning a vacation.
